Miss Gunner is an excellent teacher, who constantly pushed me during my time in school to believe in my abilities, and is such a huge part of the reason for my top grades in English. I had Miss Gunner as a teacher in Year 9 in high school, where she first taught me English. At the start, I really disliked English and could not understand how to do it. By the end, I realised my passion for English and ended up winning awards for English in my school. I would honestly say she is not just a good teacher who is patient and understanding, but she is a genuinely kind and lovely woman who will work to help you see the best parts of yourself. I 100000% recommend Miss Gunner as a tutor, as you will develop your skills massively and come out very pleased with yourself.

She has been helping me succeed in many different English language topics, and I can tell you that I've seen a huge difference, thanks to Mrs Gunner.

We go over techniques and the affects they have on the reader, the variety of language the writers use in their work.  Most of all we do all this in a fun way.

I have a good bond with Mrs Gunner; she is so lovely and easy to get on with and is 100% the right person for your English tutoring.

I've been working with Mrs Gunner for a term now and I've got such lot more confidence.  

I like working through different texts and investigating how the author has put it together.  We look for all the different techniques a writer might use in their work and then write it up into essays.  

I am much more confident that I can get the grades I need now and I'm almost looking forward to my exams!
